What has changed since August
The first article-form update on the chances of Arsenal of winning the Premier League title comes after 8 matchdays. Since August a lot has changed, but Arsenal managed to stay on top and to increase the margin, in spite of Liverpool winning the direct clash with a stunner by Szoboszlai.The pre-season preview had the two teams paired on top, with a 3% winning chances difference. Today the margin is almost 30%.
Manchester City's odds have remained stable (around 15%), while Chelsea's halved (from 6% to 3%). All the other teams are virtually out of the race (less than 1%).

The relegation threat
Wolves have had the worst start of the season, sitting in 20th place with 2 points, and have by far the biggest chances of relegation (71.24%). West Ham, similarly, have picked up 4 points and now are in relegation danger (42.81%, it was 20.% in August).On the other hand, Sunderland had a great start, winning four games and drawing two, and more than halved their relegation odds (84.5% to 35.23%).
